 This shot was hard. Getting the lollipops to stand up and trying not to look crazy in the park was only half of it. Post-processing took much longer than I thought. Hopefully I followed all the rules and hopefully it will all be worth it!

Selective Hue adjustment on sticks
Brightness/Contrast adjustment
selective burn
selective dodge
selective blur
selective saturation
duplicate layer made, blending with multiply, then flattened
saved for web
run through neat image

Hi there Shane,
What a wonderful world to live in. Candyland :) I'm gonna be honest. This is not your best shot. Just finished looking through your portfolio and you've got some wonderful shots. I think the problem with this shot is overprocessing. The idea is great but the final outcome dose not look so great. That is my oppinion. It would have been great to place a child on the picture picking a lollyflower or maby bending over and licking it.

Keep up the good work. Again... you've got some great shots in your portfolio.
