photography is a good excuse to trespass a little bit.

I took most of my pictures at this location prior to this one, and was thinking of leaving, but I'm glad I waited. The sun had finally fallen below the bank of black clouds near the horizon and everything was coated in direct golden light.

no edits to this one other than crop and resize. I'd have actually cloned out the airplane if I could, but otherwise I don't think there's anything I could do to improve this picture... which is not to say it's perfect, just that I couldn't improve it myself.

First submission with my new Tamron 24-135.

very interesting, and the sunset makes the metal actually SEEN on the photo. Great sunset!!! Composition is not that perfect (dont quite like the geometry... not enough rythm in the trackks, but there is SOME that we already can't ignore...). Really good overall

very nice light and contrast. I think I would have composed the image without the dark part of the sky but I can't explain why. possibly because 2 parts of the image (rails & bright sky) might have been sufficient (ie not requiring another stripe). great shot!

The subject is highlighted. Did you need so much train?

Mundane scene turned into art - lovely use of light and lines. Horizontal of clouds and horizon/ sky against diagonals of rails works well.

Nice image but the sky is a bit dark for my liking - it destracts me from the actual subject which is a pity cause that is very nice.
