Thomas - you are not going to like me much, but i gave a 4. This image just didn't "do it" for me. you came 47/501 so it obviously did it for a lot of people, just not me.
But, here is why anyhow - I didn't care for the perspective you chose for this subject matter, the clash of tried and true vs overdone comes to mind. Po Boxes, lockers etc they are always photographed this way. What if you had veered a little left of the norm and made the lines run diagonal?
There is plenty of light - in fact some boxes are a little blown out - and with so much light, i would have expected a little sharper focus. No particular box stands out as the one that is most in focus for me.
Now the crop, the crop is very good, nice and symetrically balanced through the image. That i did like.

I thought this was a great shot and scored an 8. It has great depth of field and the lighting is good. There were 2 small things that kept me from giving a 10. The way the numbers are placed on the plastic backing leaves a weird shadow and makes then appear out of focus. Also the first box is cut off to much for my taste, I see the dilemma of where should it start, but it a very appealing image. Congrats on your personal best finish.

I didn't get to this one in the voting and I probably would have given it a 7.

Mostly because the horizon/lines seem to go down a bit and it doesn't feel quite right ... maybe something a little more horizontal or on the slightly upside.

The depth of field places the focus to the far left, something slightly in (maybe one more box) like 405 might give it more of a balance of thirds.

You placed very well (top 10%) and that's something to be proud of. Nice find!

I love this one. Where on earth did you find so many really really shiny boxes? This is a great shot, well composed and lit, and a terrific choice of angle. It may have been interesting to see a key hanging off one of them. 9

I like the luminosity of the metal in this shot and the angle from which it was taken.

This is very nice. How did you get your depth of field to allow the focus to go so far?

Definitely metal! The highlights are a bit washed out, though. Great perspective.

Neat concept, but the reflections and angles make this photo almost difficult to look at for me, which is surprising.

Nice retro chrome look. They look like old school dinner napkin holders. Good angle. They seem to go on forever.

LOVE this photograph! the composition is amazing -- the repeating pattern is so visually appealing. I also love how the metal mailboxes reflect the light. It gives a nice dimention to this photo. Nice work!
