The single mature tree on hill - symbolizing age, strength, untold stories. The tree grows stronger year after year as it roots take a deeper hold on the ground beneath. This tree has been here for the youth to play in, the adults to share a romatic afternoon under, and the seniors to lean against on a warm sunny day and ponder the memory of their years. Standing strong against the storms of life, it provides shelter for those who nest within it, and those who hunker below it. This simple tree is a celebration of life. | Sometimes simple is good. And this is one of them. And the colours are subdued but very contrasty ... if that makes any sense at all. |

| Dang! Sorta makes me want to grab a pillow and blanket so I can take a nap under that tree. The thing that strikes me most about this shot is the soothing colors. It has a harvest season feel to it. Good work! |

| I love the stark simplicity and the perfect contrasting colors. Shots like this always catch my eye and this is certainly no exception. It'd make an awesome poster, Kelly!! Love the summery clouds! |

| wow The colors are intense here. I really like it. Think that makes this stand out among field images. Incredible sky - this almost looks like a painting because its hard to believe its real. That's a good thing, btw. excellent work! |
