Took this photo with a glass bowl in front of the lens. I had manually fixed the focus and took a series of pictures until I had one that I was happy with.

Brought the picture up on my monitor and postioned a halogen desk lamp behind it. The light was reflected over the top and onto my hand.
The camera was set at a 10 second delay to give me time to position my hand.

Nice concept, good colors and an appealing composition. The hand is a great idea. General photographic quality is high. Works very well for this challenge. It should finish high in scoring.

Beautiful Discus. I think it is a good interpretation of the challenge. The hand framing the fish helps to keep the focus. |
