obviously a make-believe shot, but a good one. Great model, and I like the processing, too. |

Good pic...but are the grains due to noice? I really like the expression of the face and eyes. Goodluck. 7. |

The image is striking. The model's make up is over the top and the clothes are incongruent with the hair and face. This still one of the best staged shots I've seen |

A good capture with good makeup and expression. O would have cropped right at the waistline to increase the impact. |

Her expression looks great. I would have preferred to see white walls behind her (more like an asylum) and the backwards jacket is not quite convincing enough for me. |

I think that this would be much more effective if you cropped at her waist. |

You are to be commended for setting up and photographing it in such a way as to make it very believable. We see images all the time that do not come close with difficult subjects like this.
It is debatable whether or not the indentation in the wall to the right helps or hurts the composition. But the way it draws the eye from the main subject probably means it is a distraction that should be removed.
The angle, expression and flyaway hair all contribute positively to this composition. Hope that is not someone's girlfriend. :)

Meets the challenge superbly. Is the grainy/noisy effect deliberate? Not quite sure I liked that, it might have been equally effective without it. |

wow this is incredibly unnerving! I bet it would have even more of an effect if our perspective was from higher up and not so straight on w/the subject.. |

Great model! She really does an excellent job of pulling off the look youre going for. I would have liked this photo more if it pulled back from the model a bit to give a sense of the environment - or perhaps zoomed in to just under the elbows. Great use of grain, it really adds to the mood. |

Eeek! Out of everything I've seen so far in this challenge, I think this one fits the challenge subject the best. The evil, the insanity, the photographic representation of horror movies that scare the crap out of me. I love it! |

I do like what you have done here, even without the despeckle or adding noise part of what you've done, it shows good judgement. For me it just sets the mood very well for the shot you captured it works. Very artistic. GL |

nice comp, b&w both need work, a bit noisy, nice lighting, nice angle, good idea.
We all know this is a Darkness challenge, how about reducing the title next time. "insanity" say the same thing and more to the point and more dramatic. |

Strange comp and the grain seems alittle much with the white pants and shirt. I love the idea and I scored it well |

Very gritty, love the black and white. Expression is excellent, she not only looks insane but she looks dangerous and.. well.. kind of zombie-ish. Focus and lighting look good though the focus seems a skosh soft in areas, composition is great. I gave a 6. |

Aesthetically I'd like to see the image sharper. The grains are fine, but the image just isn't sharp. On the other hand. I think this is very creative, so I'll give you bonus points there. |

Wow, Linda Blair and the exorcist had nothing on this kid. Like the picture but the grain is a little strong. Is this due to the ISO setting or was it post production? Just curious...
Cheers,
