I don't know why people were not able to co-relate the title to the photo. Certainly you can explore the beauty of the light in the absoulte darkness and not in the daylight.
This is what I was trying to show. Can anybody imagine that how beautiful the LED looks. If not look at the photo again.

| This is the type of image that means a lot more to the photographer at the time they take it or while working on it in post processing than it is to the casual viewer. Green is an intersting color in this composition but the abstract nature of the image may be to obscure for most voters to "get it". Technically it is not bad but its score will suffer anyway. |

| these colors move when I watch them....I know it is an optical illusion, but I like it! I am wondering if that was an effect you tried for.....I find this a very creative approach to the dark challenge, and the title is great too...I am giving you a 10 |

| I'm not sure what the object is in this photo. I think it may be more compelling if we could see what it is. Right now it just appears to be circles on a black background which does not really suggest darkness to me. I may be missing something, but it's nice to have a photo that makes a good strong connection to the challenge topic. |

| I was going to just rate this and move on but I figured I'd do better to comment as well. I found myself a bit disappointed in the image due to the title. The title gave me an expectation of light being explored somehow that I didn't find the image to live up to. It definitely fits the challenge and the greeny-yellow color works well against the black background but I'm not finding anything that captures my attention with the composition. If an example of what I'm trying to say would help, the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of your title and an idea of a photograph that could portray it, would be an image of dustmotes in a stream of light, this I think would give some interesting things for the viewer to look at and (to me) delves more into the wonder of light. But that's just my opinion and as we know everyone has them for better or worse. I hope this helps in some way! I gave a 3 |
