gwyndbartlett, you made a tender photograph that deserved better reception.

Cropping the black diagonal at the bottom of the photo out would have still left sufficient foreground in place, whilst moving the ducks to 1/3rd above the bottom, rather than being just below 1/2 way. 6

Way to small to judge, might be out of focus (hard too see), forground not attractive.

nighnight little duckies
i would have liked to see an even silhoutte of the ground/ grass before the little duckies. You might want to think about posting slightly larger photos in the future.

Decent silhouette of duck and ducklings. Nice concpt but some votes may think this does not convery the sense of darkness enough for THEIR taste. This image has great possibilities. The positives are the foreground grassy reeds and the reflective lighting off the rippling water and wake. Fetures holding it back are that is is way too small, the focus is too soft and the triangular object on the left bottom of the frame is distracting.

It's a pity that the size is very small , I like the photo !

Pity this photo isn't bigger - the impact is lost a little. Nicely framed though. You could even crop it closer into a wide aspect shot if the original is big enough

The grass in the foreground is a little distracting - still nice overall

Needs to be larger to appreciate. Interesting shot.
