Terrific tonal range and perspective in this B&W study. Gives viewers something to think about.
he technical quality of the image is outstanding even though the hair on the subject's head appears to be soft compared to the rest of the image. Perhaps a slow shutter speed captured subject movement.
Viewers will wonder about the purpose of the garment in the chair. It does not appear to serve a purpose so might be better if it were removed.
The window is not level in the composition and will act as a distraction. Intentional angling should be 15 degrees or more to be effective and meaningful to most viewers. Anything close to being horizontal should be made horizontal.
This is a good image that will score in the upper tier. |

Well composed with enough detail to offset the silhoutte. A very good study. |

The silhouette of the person is not sharp - is it motion blur, as the chair is crisp enough? |

Good take on the challenge. The focus on the man is a bit soft for my taste. Bumping up. |

Nice moody lighting, but the hair looks a bit fuzzy compared to the chair which is in sharp focus. |

I'm guessing he wants to hang out for a while! HAHAHA. Ok, that was a bit morbid. My only beef with this is, I never would have come to that conclusion had I not read the title of the photo. You would probably do better with a rope handing from the ceiling above the chair with a noose all ready to go. Not everyone reads the titles like I do......... |

Interesting angle to take this photo. Did the model move slightly? The shiloutte of the chair seems crisp but the models head is a lot softer. |

Very good. Maybe you should have darkened the left outer area. |

Interesting... Looking first at the image, and then the title, I had exactly the opposite reaction to what you intended. |
