Hello there.
Meets the challenge somewhat, IMO, I think the addition of the sign may have hurt you in this case, don't get me wrong, I like it, but for this particular challenge I think people were looking for au-natural :)
Composition:
Very good, the inclusion of the sign is an addition, tells me that there is no way I could park here anyways, kind of makes it comical.
Lighting:
Is very nice on the ivy, good contrast too. The upper right hand corner is washed out, probably due to high noon or overcast SF day :).
Focus and DOF are pretty good, but could be improved to make the sign tack sharp with a smaller aperature or focusing halfway down the ivory to achieve more DOF.
One thing that distracts my eye is the pink blob on the ivy leaf, looks like someone spit on it :P Didn't you bring your pruning shears? ;)
Very nice on a different perspective, you obviously have an eye for photography, keep up the good work and good luck on future challenges! |

Great composition. I love the sense of a huge blanket of foliage. Nice photo. |

Very nice, I would like to move that no parking sign out. |

Those tones of green have come out very crisp and saturated, good capture. |

I think I'd have tried to get the "No Parking" sign sharper or else crop it out entirely. |

How about a long thin crop to match the growth of the ivy? Would have eliminated the street sign which I felt was a distraction. |

The shot would've been stronger by cropping out the sign. Otherwise a good shot, good colors and focus. |

Satisfies the theme but not very interesting. I get the feeling you knew that so you brought in the sign to try to add something to the picture. Actually that bush to the left of the sign might have made an interesting photo with some color if cropped and focused correctly. |

I think I would have liked this shot without the sign. But that's just my humble opinion. I like the use of lines and rhythm. |

How important to your picture is the No Parking sign? I think I would have left it out. |

The No Parking sign is very noticeable and distracting. I suggest a different crop or shoot at a slightly different angle. |
