| I think I'd really like this if only I could make the bird out more clearly against the background. They are simply too close in colour for me and whilst that may well be because of the bird's propensity to rest in places where it is camouflaged, it doesn't make for as strong a picture, in my opinion. If only the background were pale and bright like the rock it rests upon! Also, I don't know if it's because you've selected the background and then blurred it or due to sharpening but there's a very strong pale halo right around the bird which doesn't look good to me at all. |

| The subject blends in with the background a bit too much and it seems oversharpened (I think). I think the background detracts from an otherwise nice image. |
