Hello from the C.C.!
It seems you had a good idea with this photo. I'm guessing you were trying to compare, in a certain way, the dandelion to the clouds? I like the simplicity of the shot.
It's obvious, as many people noted, this picture is overprocessed. You can tell from the graininess of the sky. What were you trying to correct? Whatever it was, you need to try to correct it with your technique, not an editing program.
It's not usually a good idea to place your subject in the center of the frame, it makes for a little too much simplicity. Try observing the "Rule of Thirds" in photos like this one.
I hope my comments will be of some help, that's all I intend. Photography has a learning curve, like anything. |

Nice shot and I like the perspective. I would have liked to see a bit more above the dandelion; I think that would help the composition. This photo suffers from a lot of noise that can be legally (ok to use on DPC) removed using a free software program called Neat Image. Give it a try I know you will like it! |

I can't make up my mind about this! It's grainy, but I don't mind that. The sky is absolutely gorgeous in the background, with those fluffy clouds. The dandelion itself is nice ,but I just don't like the way it's positioned. It doesn't feel right. I think a narrower crop would have worked better, chopping off the sides of the photo. |

Superb composition, but the sharpening artifacts ruin the image. |

this has the potential to be a great photograph. the clouds, dandelion, blue sky.. all great.. nice composition. the only thing I am picking on is the quality .. there is quite a bit of dithering/noise in all the colors, so I wonder if it was dark, and then you tried to over brighten it/use levels? |

I like this composition, but the noise level in the sky is a bit odd... - setzler |

This one is my favorite. I'm waiting for a brisk wind to blow to come along so I can make a wish. :) |

Good sky, good dandylion......
White balance is not white on the flower and there is a bunch of grain. Personally the grain is not a bother as much as the color. The composition is good. Try this one again if you get the chance. |

I really liked your idea here. The composition is great! Just maybe could have used better lighting or just a little bit of post-processing would have helped. I couldn't quite put my finger on it by just looking at it, so I took your picture and messed with it a little. As it turns out, there was a yellow hue to it that dulled everything. Once that was taken out, the clouds whitened, the dandilion stood out better and the sky brightened into a nice deep blue. I'll keep it for you in case you would like to see what I did. You have a good eye for nice composition...keep up the good work. |

Choice perspective it works very well. The sky looks quite grainy but it doesn't lower the quality of the pic too much, good. |

Good angle on this shot. I get the feeling those seeds are ready to take off! The clouds give the feeling that it is a windy day. |

I don't care much for the post-processing of this image. It might have worked a bi like an intentional abstract if there wasn't so much grain in the sky. I do like your intention, though. |

Very nice shot - the fluffy clouds help with the overall feel here. Good detail on the "flower". |
