Overall image appears under-exposed. A little more brightness would make it nicer. Good DOF. |

Your composition is amazing and the DOF just boosts the quality so much. |

I would have cropped this a bit more to bring more attention to the dove. Right now its blending a bitwith its background. |

I like the seperation of foreground/background here a lot. The pose is great, good work with the training i see (with so little time!). Great symetry in the crop. This one should do well. Good luck - 9 |

You did really good on this photo. I'm learning and practicing on improving my DOF when I take pictures and I believe that this is a good example of proper DOF. The bird is nicely in focus and stands out from the background. I like how you were able to bring out the texture of the wood plank that he's sitting on. The perfectionist in me also notices that the bottom board is even when you cropped. My only suggestion is that it's a tad on the dark side and maybe a little adjustment would brighten it up some and help the bird stand out more in the picture. Good luck in the challenge. |

That's such a nice photo of the morning dove. I have them in my backyard every day. I tried taking a picture of them but they wouldn't let me get very close. I tried zooming in from my deck but the picture wasn't very good. Yours is great. I think it's worth a 10. Good luck in the challenge. Hope you win. |

wonderful, something about the overall tone is just fantastic, and the bird looking right into the camera, love it. |

Excellent. Despite the fact the background is so close in colour to the dove, it's soft enough to actually enhance rather then detract from the subject. Love the angle of the head, and the location where you captured it. Best picture I've seen yet. There's a great feel about this one. |
