I would have liked to see this cropped with more negative space to either side of the rooster; as it is it seems rather cramped.

The colors seem to be just a bit too "washed out" to me. Also, the cropping is a bit too close. If you had left a bit more room in front of the rooster, it might have had more impact.

Cropping seems a bit tight, would like to see a little room in front of the rooster....Focus is good, nice DOF. Good shot.

There's nothing wrong with this shot, but there's nothing great about it either. It would have been better if you had tried something interesting or unusual. Make me see the chicken like I've never a chicken before. For example, maybe you could have gotten down real low and close to the chicken, so that your camera was pointing up at him, and then the chicken would look more interesting and the backround would have been just sky or maybe all blurred. Just some thoughts.

it's a beautifull chicken, but the framing is a bit blah. maby adding more negative space on the right would give the chicken a sense of direction and give the shot a less constricted feel
