nicely done
to catch them wild is a feat in and of itself.

That a great shot. Too bad the DoF isn't deeper, or the Focus further back. looks like some of the forground (rock) is in focus. 9

What a great composition. You were lucky to get this! I wish the hindmost bird were in better focus, but with a long lens like that the DOF must have been pretty narrow. The BG is a bit wierd. It would be nice if there were something in the middle distance to keep them from looking like they're posed against a backdrop. Very nice work, overall.

very neat subjects and composition. esp. the background looks a bit grainy and the focus seems soft even on the first head.

Love the colors, composition, subject, background, ... Focus on the face of the first bird is the only negative - but very minor. Solid 9.

These are lovely birds. I like the capture very much. The timing of getting all three looking in different directions...very cool. Wonderful detail. (Wish I could spell the bird's name...) 10 Rob the Swash

Great - love the balance of the three birds tails on either side, faces all looking different directions. It is more that a picture of birds - it is a picture of thier attitude. Crisp feathers, nice background.

What a great picture. I think you could have used just a tad more depth of field.
