I think I might have perferred this in colour, but I like the macro just the same.. good texture on the snail's skin and shell.

The depth of field seems a little shallow. I don't think there would be a problem with your subject getting away if you stopped down the lense (smaller aperture, larger number) and adjusted the shutter speed accordingly. This would allow you to possibly get both attenae in focus. Also change your vantage point could help with this as well.

[Comment only] Great detail on the shell. The choice of creature here is refreshing. The only thing I would suggest is more depth of field so that both antennae are sharp. Good luck!

It would have been really nice to get the eyes in focus as well. Otherwise a great photo.
