The border is distracting, and the focus on the duck is rather soft

Nice DOF but its still alittle soft on the focus.

The photo looks very nice but I must mention the border really takes away from the duck. Borders never bother me...to be honest I never notice them....but this one shouts out pretty loud.

I really hate this border. For me, the garbledness of it completely takes away from the serenity of the smooth water and deep green tones. Its jarring. That, of course, is just my opinion. The duck is ever so slightly soft to my eyes but I love the colors of the water - think they are a positive in this image (I ordinarily don't like green water - something icky about it). I can't get around this border so I will give you a 5 - border is part of the presentation and this just does not do it for me. Sorry!

You would have done much better without the frame. if you are ever deciding whether to frame or not, always choose not to for challenges and then feel free to frame for anything else.

The odd border hurt this otherwise superb image in my opinion.

Kind of looks like a federal duck stamp

one way to get a lot of comments is to enter a border like this

wish there was more space between the reflection and the border. it's very painterly, but i still wish the focus was a bit tighter. As you already know...the border was a bit over the top.-5

Sorry and I bet I am not the first to comment on this, but that frame really doesn´t work here in my opinion, it draws more attention than the duck itself! I try not to let frames bother me but this is just too much, again sorry, not meaning to offend.

The shot itself is also below average, it seems out of focus, you either blow out some highlights on the feathers or come very close too it and the composition is dead centered and there is nothing interesting going on in this shot at all. On the plus side the shot is definately on topic.

a bit blurry, but an excellent shot for sure!

This is a beautiful shot, I like the greenish tint to the water as well as the ducks reflection, though I am sure you will receive many negative comments concerning your border I really like it and think it works quite well here. Very nice work! 10

My most favorite kind of duck / bird in the whole world! I hope they aren't killing you for the frame -- I've learned the hard way that they usually beat up frames pretty badly. But I happen to be one that likes them, and think this adds a nice touch to your photograph. Good luck!!!!!

looks a bit soft, and the water is too green, but I like the framing, I bet you'll get a lot of comments like " I don't like the framing ".

soft, the duck is not in focus, the water is. the frame is a bit too much for this shot.

Seriously; the frame has to go.
Great shot of the duck though
Good luck
