The image itself conveys a rich deep feeling IMO. The use of the backlighting is very effective and gives the statue a nice glow. Very nicely done on the features with that backlight. I noticed BOTH billboards in the background and I think I would clone those out asap. I also might try cropping out more of the left side of the picture, as to put his face on the left thirds, as he is "looking into" the right side, so leave as much there as possible. Hope these thoughts help!!

Dramatic image. I think your use of light and shadows is effective. I don't like the billboard at his elbow.

You got pretty good exposure in the face considering that the statue is so harshly backlit. I'm not a real big fan of the composition, the dead center is uninteresting and gives you that snapshot feel. If you can reshoot it, try to place in the statue in different positions in the frame and see what really works. Experiment with rule of thirds, it's a good rule. Watch your backgounds too, they can often be very busy and take away from your subject.
