Thanks to everyone for commenting...

This is my neighbor's dog 'Bear'. Was only trying to capture his beautiful eyes (the other is brown, but always ended up underexposed) but when I saw the detail and color in his fur I was extra satisfied. I'd like to offer the full size version sometime soon, its worth a look.

Most of the 'Pet' photos l deducted some points for lack of originallity. I just thought it too easy. But i love this Photo. It is so Vivid. Nice crisp photo. What a beautiful Dog. (10)

The dog makes a great subject, I never thought a dog would, but this is an awesome looking animal. I don't think your background works at all, however and is a bit overexposed. (and busy, maybe?) Also, I was very impressed when the top portion of the dog's head was loading (exposing that awesome colored eye) but I was disappointed by the large mouth and teeth. I either would have cropped his mouth and background off (just use the top right portion of the photo) or taken a different angle entirely. He's pretty though. I think a few more shots of Bear and you would have had it.

Simply beautiful dog portrait. The icey blue of the dog's eye really catches your attention. Not sure why you did the boarder the way you did, but still worth a 7.

Colors seem oversaturated, especially the green. The profile of the dog is sharp, though.

One of the most dramatic "dog shots" I've ever seen. I really think the high contrast works well in this image, and the light you captured really brings out the dog's eyes well. Great job. 10

Nice puppy.... looks more wolfish than bear like to me. Great shot, lighting is lovely. Palm tree is a little distracting to me though.

Boy this is a fabulous picture of your dog. His eyes are awesome. I just wish the back ground were a bit darker.
