 Driving through an old neighborhood I spotted this in the corner of an overgrown lot. I could tell that the yard had been maintained at one time, but had been let go.
I was going to clone out the limbs hanging down but decided not to. I think the DOF could have been better.

A lovely Japanese garden. Your frame is more interesting then the subject and in better focus, I think that makes this photo work.

I like this picture, but I just find the tilt of the birdhouse(?) to be a bit distracting. I want to reach in and straighten it!

I find the colors appear to have a washed look which could be caused by to much contrast or incorrect white balance or perhaps the subject itself. I find the subject to be over framed causing a great loss on the subject of the photo. Good luck in this challenge. <4>

The focus feels more on the surrounding foliage, rather than on the framed stone.

the out-of-focus focal point (the grey rectangle in the concrete thing) in the context of the bright crisp foliage makes this picture very strange. (6)
