| Herd o cows - that works! Black againt black is very hard on the details. Image is a bit small for all this activity. Heavy haze in the distance, probably not good, but honestly nearly out of the picture. 6 Rob the Swash |

| You lost detail in this herd of what appears to be cattle. I can't really tell because I believe youvre underexposed the picture. |

| This is a tough challenge. All of your subjects are very dark and fill about 1/3 of the image. If you used an averge metering method, which I suspect since the foreground and background are nicely exposed, your subjects will be under exposed. One solution here would be to use a different vantage point to eliminate some of the bright background and spot meter on the area you want to expose for. Also, using and ND or polarizing filter might help. |

| These cows are just too indistinct. It's hard to get close with live, untamed animals though, I can appreciate that. Maybe next time try caturing a few stragglers that are not all in the same group. |

| I like the mass of cows - like one animal, with some white faces peeking out, but they aren't in focus - and there needs to be more focus to the composition too - less sky would help - or perhaps zeroing in on one cow, |

| kinda dark on the cows scene is just too high contrast for the camera to handle might want to adjust the levels some to bring out the detail or use a polarizer to get more from the sky and water |
