 Kohler, Wisconsin. The weather has been weird and there is a chance we will be under a tornado watch again later. But this afternoon it was clear and warm by the lake in the village - but windy. There were actually a few kids braving the water. The trees and bridge created a natural frame as one jumped off the bridge as another laughed. Shot in raw and converted in Raw Shooter. Levels, curves, saturation (especially yellow and cyan) selective colour and boosted contrast. Did not use NI because it was making the image too soft. Resized and saved for web.

A fortunate find that I hope will do well.

It's good to see that some kids can still enjoy the freedom of summer. The one in the water seems to be having a blast.
The composition is weak. The docks on the other side distract and the bridge is cut off at the top. Centered compositions aren't often very exciting. Moving left or right when setting up the picture can sometimes help to isolate the main subject.

A narrower crop would have made this a better shot I think. Great pic otherwise.
