After looking at SO many crane images...this is by far the best and most interesting in my opinion. The B & W and the grain are so effective...a very moody urban scene...but what totally makes this image is that sign...so simple but adds so much interest...nicely done. |

Something looks a bit odd about this shot. I think it may be oversharpened. You have jaggies on most of your diagonals in the cranes. Kinda distracting. Nice tones though...

The lampost detracts from the picture. Pity it could not be cloned out. Otherwise the cranes are nicely in balance. |

Very nice, I really like the composition of this image, the textures in the sky really add to it as well, black and white was also an excellent choice for this one. nicely done. |

except for the big arrow sign this IMO would have been a top ranker. |

I love the shot. I think the sign detracts from it a little though... Well done. |

I like how the cranes are pointing left and the sign is pointing down. |

great shot. the arrow in the foreground somehow makes the cranes feel heavie, pulling them with more gravity to the lower left. |

Wooo thar - watch out for those jaggies. They can kill a human from 20 paces you know!
This is a great picture - really like the inclusion of the round sign in the foreground and then the way you have a middle ground and a background. Composition rocks. Great detail in the sky. Overall way too dark in processing.
Cool though! |

The arrow is very dominant, nicely connecting to the title, but not very naturally ocuuring in the picture. |
