 This is the only flower that I could find this early in the season in Montana where I live. I found these little flowers up against the foundation of my house. It took me a long time to get the saturation technique down since this is the first time that I had done it. Then I gave it all a little reddish hue to it. This poor little flower standing all alone by itself inspired me to consider it a wall flower.

I love this! The black and white with one colour works perfectly. I like the contrsats between the soft texture of the concrete and the geometric, veined look of the petals. Really nice work. I'm giving it 10.

Flower seems a little blurry. I might like a tigter focus on the bloom. Nice color work.

Beautiful color, composition and use of selective color. Maybe a little too "re-touched" but the overall effect is beautiful.

The effect doesn't really appeal much to me, but the flower is really pretty. I am not sure I like the color and the negative looking effect. Maybe just desaturated, but it doesn't appeal to me. I do like the negative space at the top and how you have placed the subject in the bottom right. The focus seems a tad soft on the upper petal of the flower. Good luck in the challenge.
