The heads of the ducks/geese look fuzzy and unclear. But I like look. |

Pretty scene. I like what the dual tone did to the body of the foremost swan, nice subtle coloration, but the shadows remove a great deal of the detail that I would have liked to have seen. Pretty sharp, but still hard to see. 6 Rob the Swash |

we can't see any of their faces, which makes it hard to get any emotion from the shot. I do like the choice of sepia though. |

Nice sepia tone. I wish the faces were more in focus and lighter. |

very nice. good use of b&w, especially with the way the shadows fall on their faces. |

Nice soft image here which does look appealing. The choice to go black and white with sepia toning wasn't wrong, it looks very good! Maybe there is just a little too much softness in your "fauna", but it isn't negative at all. Good job. |

Sepia is a nice choice for this (I'll bet you hear the opposite too though = )
Nice framing as well. |

I like the choice of sepia here - very atmospheric, and makes the backlighting on the swans work, somehow. I don't know what the latest rule on framing is, but I hope you don't get any trouble regarding the lighter areas of the image just inside the frame. Very nice work. |

The scene is beautiful, but I think it would have worked better with less swans in it. |

lovely composition. The trees are graceful reminders of the swans and help frame the shot. The necks of the swand are so nice back (or side) lit - dark lines highlighted with white against petal like bodies. The grain of the sand fading into the ripples of the water into the soft horizon. |

I like the idea of this picture and the fact that you took it in sepia.
The focus seems to be in the middle of the water behind the swans and the horizon is a little crooked. |

Interesting choice, to go sepia. I think it works for this photo. |
