| Nice try, but this image is out of focus and the plant ove the face of the cat is distracting. Better luck next time and keep trying. |

| Your kitty has some very striking eyes ... They are definitely the point of focus. I would have liked to see a larger crop (kitty's ears are cut off, and so is the tail). Also, it seems kind of fuzzy. Did you use a noise remover? See if you can try this one again. I know kitties are hard to work with, but if he was looking right at you, that would be great! Keep it up! :o) |

We have: one cat, ears and tail partially "chopped off", with very soft focus. We have messy background and very distracting foreground elements. The composition is centered, the lighting flat.
She/he is possibly a beautiful cat, but I'm afraid this photo is NOT. |

| What a lovely kitty!!! The focus on the cat seems slightly soft to me. I think that a crisper image would really make this shot pop more. |

| This photo is fairly busy and the composition does not compliment the subject very well. Its lack of focus will hurt it in the voting. I am drawn to the eyes and would like to see them sharper and much closer. Hope this helps. |

Beauty is a subjective thing, I know. In my scoring and comments I'm trying to score based on NOT whether or not I would think a particular subject beautiful, but on whether the photographer has succeeded in creating a beautiful photo. I look for the elements of color, lines, focus and dof interest, lighting, and a certain element of grace and lovlieness. I'm looking for a unique and creative appeal for the highest scorers. The description says to create a photo that makes the viewer think "that's beautiful", so it will undoubtedly be very subjective. (This is what I'm putting at the start of all of my comments, and I hope it is helpful.)
That being said, you have a cute subject here! Definitely on the prowl! The photo itself seems out of focus and more like a hurried click than a real attempt to create and convey beauty. |

| Out of focus. Poor lighting. Lack of interest. Not sure this is fitting into the challenge description, although very broad. I'm sorry, this just doesn't do it for me at all. <3> |

| Good composition but slightly out of focus to my eyes. I would be okay with the cat being out of focus (motion blur and such) but the background also is which detracts from the image quality. |

| While I find this cat very cute I think your focus is a bit too soft. There is very little detail seen. Not sure what these grey cats are called..if anything, but I see them often and have always love their beautiful fur. |
