Went down to the dunes and poked around for interesting tracks. These are from a sandpipper bird, and the squiggles lines from burrowing beatles.
Extreme macro, nearly got my lens in the sand.

And the anthropology student thinks nothing other than the Laetoli mudflats... LOL, I like the concept and you've executed it well. All the technical stuff is good, but it's the subject matter that gets me. Look up Laetoli if you're not sure what I just babbled about :P

I think that it would be better if the picture was cropped at the top so that the sand filled the whole frame. Lovely lighting.
