| I can see that it's sand, and I l ike the colors and composition, but don't really get a sense of "granular"...very soothing image. |

| That's a great concept but you missed it by inches. The focus should have been just a little further back on the line of foam, whereas you have it just in front of the foam. If it weren't for that, this would be a great shot. |

| If the focus were stronger here, I could give it 2-3 more points. I get what you're doing with DOF but there's just too much of the photo that is blurred for my eye to grab onto anyhing. |

In these tones the sea & sand appear the same color, almost indiscernable except for having to look within the title.
Maybe with different toning it would appeal to me a little more. |

| Not enough contrast, the foreground is a bit dark, would have been really nice if you had focused a tad better towards the foreground and not so much towards the middle... |
