| Very compelling color swirl, but the overall photograph lacks the same interest. Perhaps a tighter shot using a narrower depth of field? The blue background just becomes less interesting comparatively and therefore distracting. |

| Interesting! I love the concept, and it's been executed well, but a neutral background would have been better. The bright blue just doesn't mesh with the rest of the colours and textures involved. |

| The pattern (and idea) is really neat, but the focus seems a bit soft. I think the blue background looks out of place. Perhaps if the bowl was in a white or tan sand the whole image would blend nicely. |
