Great focus. Perhaps a bit of more light on the shodaowed side of her face.. Still I like the shot. 8 |

It's a nice enough photograph. The focus on the eyes is very nice, the lighting works. But I found the hairy wrist not flattering. |

Beautiful girl and portrait. Stunning eyes and great freckles! The angle of the hand is awkward; I would crop below the knuckle of the first finger. |

I feel that the hand has too much prominence in this lovely portrait. |

Well done. This really captures the person's face which in turn defines in absoluteness the light from dark. |

pretty light on the left side of the face. To fill in that shadow on the other side, just hold oup something white. Maybe a pillow case or a poster board. You will be amazed at what it can do. By the way, the posing of the hand makes it look a little big, it is kinda distracting. Hands are very hard to photograph, nice try |

striking eyes, and nice lighting. I would like a little more DOF (right side seems a little soft) |

Gorgeous eyes, I think her hand in the composition cramps the frame and detracts from her beauty- especially with this crop, as it makes the hand position look awkward. I love the light, just the right amount of detail. |

This is a beautiful portrait and the lighting is just right. Still to me it does not fit the theme of the challenge. As in all photographs light is part of the image but I don't find that light itself is a subject in this image. I'm still giving it a 6 because I like it so much but would have given a higher rating if I felt it fit the challenge. |

Nice work; I like that I can see the window in full in the reflections. Everything in the shot is sacrificed to those eyes, which is both a good and a bad thing: they're worth it, first, but also I feel your shot lacks some depth because of that single point of real interest. |

I love these shots where the llight brightens only one side of the face. Good job. She is so cute too! :) |
