This is my favorite. Really evokes mood and memory for me...and the title makes it. Sure there's things that can be better of it...but that would spoil the irony of the title.

Bumped to 10, best of challenge for me.

The first image that came up for me in voting, and just beautiful. The only thing that I would change is the hot spot on the floor, which I feel draws my eye a little too much away from the very lovely lighting on the table. The tonality is wonderful here. Terrific work. 8

Striking balance and tones overall. One of those images where you want to get in with a torch and explore the shadows.

For some reason, I like this shot. It must be the look of age and the timelessness of this room. The light coming in window is soft and effective; the chandelier and the ornate chairs add a lot of charm and whimsy to this composition...8
