 I'm guessing that this is a shot people will either love or hate :)

For those wondering, it is a photo of half-cooked tapioca which was placed in a clear plastic container and held above a light.

Editing: Levels, resize, USM, sharpen
Saved as progressive scan and EXIF data stripped to stay below the 150k size limit

hmmm....looked to me like a shot through a microscope...boy was I waayyy off!! Very cool idea!

bonus for a unique entry to this challenge, though I suspect most of us don't have the equipment necessary to capture something like this. Color is interesting.

I do not get the feeling of granular. Should be more gritty or rough, this is smooth and soft.
