Challenge: Granular (Basic Editing III) Camera: Olympus C-2100UZ Location: back yard Date: May 20, 2005 Galleries: Macro, Food and Drink Date Uploaded: May 20, 2005 Add photograph to your favorites Add photographer to your favorites	Okay, so I'm guessing not that many people have heard of Alaea Salt, but it's a large grained Hawaiian sea salt, containing 'Alaea, which is baken Hawaiian Clay, giving it it's red color.Very beautiful and quite good, actually. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- contrast,brightness,saturation,sharpness,border, resized.

Nice use of shallow DOF and very clever use of nothing more than the light and shadow of the rise and hollow within the salt to produce a composition and sweeping curved movement to the image.
