Too bad about the tree in the background, the focus is also a little lacking since you seem to have focused on the apple and nose of dog only. You probably know already but focusing on eyes first and then moving the camera to a new composition works better. Nice and healthy looking dog.

Background too distracting, as well as red collar taking away from the apple and the arm is too blown out. Dog is cute.

Good photo but your dog's expression leads me to believe that he is a touch too melancholatic for this piece.

Photo is a little soft and the arm has way too much light on it. Check your settings. If you went auto you should have used manual and adjusted your shutter iso etc. cute idea tho.
