 dipped the apple in blue paint, had a nail sticking through black covered box, and pushed the dripping appel into the nail.

feels a little more like a yellow-blue than a red-blue, so a teeny bit discordant against that particular red. but the shiny reflection and the drips make it work. 8

Interesting idea, nicely taken image including the glossy blues, but vis-a-vis the title, the last time I checked the flag needed a white.
