Thanks for the comments. The apple was illuminated from inside. You can still see the red electricity cable on the branch above. It's not even an apple tree :)
The light strokes were painted with a small green LED. Hard to control, and impossible to get into focus, since I was working with F/2,8.
It didn't turn out quite the way I wanted it, but I lurned a lot during this challenge. I have many outtakes and some great ideas which I'll try out during my holidays.

i like both the night apple scene and the star wars stuff, but i would prefer not to have them in one picture

This is so strange, ethereal, completely wonderful! The color is "magaical" as is the light. This image truly dances...very nice work.

Love the colors. Are they lightning bugs? Very surreal. Great focus despite the dark sky.

I like this, a tad too much light striking the top of the apple. Would take a while to get the two different greens to be in sink so the apple would draw they eye first and not the glow to its right. 8
