 Silhouette of me taking photo with sun shining on back of house. Just having fun and thought what the heck I might as well enter it.

Great use of the shadow to impart the silhoutte feel. The brick texture as it plays in light and shadow is just nice to look at. Bump.

Challenge: Sil or Shadowcast? The very question will hurt this image, although technically a sil, in the 'purist's' minds, this will cost you.
Composition: There is an uneven lighting top to bottom that causes some distraction and lends a yellowish cast to part of the image.
Concept: Fails on interest level, but does not hurt or help the overall.

This is actually a shadow rather than a silhouette. I would suggest adding some other element, as it is right now - there isn't a whole lot to look at. The bricks provide texture and color - but that's about it.

I think I silhouette is a figure that is blackened from the light not a shadow. Nice shadow though.

This is more of a shadow. I think the challenge was to deal with a back lit object.

This is a shadow on a wall but not a silhouette photo, so it doesn't meet the challenge in my opinion. Nice shot though!

IMO, does not meet definition of a silhouette. This is a static and frankly uninteresting photo. Wish I could be more help.

In my opinion, shadows are not silhouetts, they are shadows. You can get the same shot in a silhouette, just use a light and a sheet. Try it again.
