Maybe it would have been more "convincing" had you stood them up, like viewing a square dance from obliquely above. We needn't see all of them face-on.
Despite your note, I have a suspicion some bears were harmed AFTER the making of this shot... |

Greetings from the Critique Club :)
I absolutely love the detail and sharp focus achieved in this shot. The clarity of the features on the gummi bears is amazing. I also like the colors and lighting.
The vibrant colors are great fun and the lighting is bright enough to give the gummi bears a nice glow but not so bright as to set up a glare.
The overall composition, however, seems to lack something and to be honest, I don't know that I can put my finger on what it is. I think maybe it is the deliberate placement of the bears as opposed to a more random arrangement. Of course, this is just that "gut" kind of reaction I had to the image. Technically, I think you did a great job. I think the shot just does not appeal to me aesthetically.

Very impressive - can't think of a single thing to improve this. Great concept, definately meets challenge, great background and border selections. One of my favorites this challenge - good luck! |

Nice combination...are these candies? Bottom right half of the picture seems lighter and some reflections overall ruin the image. |

The backlighting and background work really well here in establishing the bright colors you need for this "dance." |

Cute idea! Bears are very clear. A bit of reflection off the glass. Maybe swapping the green and light yellow bears would have been good (hide the glare a bit better). Nice blue sky background. 8 Rob the Swash |

did you know that you can stretch a gummy bear from head to toe and then lick it and the head will pop off???? |

LOL funny title, and the picture is great. I really like the colors and gummy bears are great for this since they allow the light through. Cool. |

Awesome! Good choice of background color, it fits to the gummi bears perfectly. Good lighting set up as well, although the left side seems a tad darker than the right - 9. |

The floating effect does it for me in this pic. Good choice of colors and numbers. Its a good medium in terms of the proximity of the bears to the camera, not too close nor too far. Great job, the best I've seen so far. - 9 |
