 Just two birds that I have no idea what they are. Some kind of crane maybe? They stand about as tall As me when on the ground. They were hanging out in a field and I was trying to get close to take some shots of them on the ground, an also with the hope that I could get close enough so that when they did fly off I would be able to get some shots. I did get some, and they were not happy about how close I got to them. They were voiving there opinion about me so much that they were still squawking as they flew away. And this shot you can see their beaks open telling me off.

The orange is wonderful! that alone worth everything!
the composition is great. The silhouettes are nice and clear. The space in front of the birds that imply to the direction of their flight is wonderful.

I went out to capture a shot like this, but the wildlife stayed to low to the horizon,the sharpness,and sky very good......

Excellent capture. Birds are tuff, bird at night are close to impossible, well at least for me. The background, for me, requires a bit more variation so the photo does not become negative space. 9
