 Placed the plant on balcony around sunset, and hoped for the birds trying to catch the falling sun. But most birds had already gone. I did see them go, but didn't think of doing anything for the challenge.

So I waited and out of nowhere, two birds appeared in the frame and the click was a reflex. I waited a little longer but there were no more birds to be seen.

Processing: Adobe Photoshop
- Coverted to monochrome using Channel Mixer
- Cropped a bit
- Smoothened with NeatImage
- Did some burning around top and bottom left (bottom right was that dark already)
- Applied Photo Filter with Deep Yellow
- Added Noise
- Resampled to current size (without border)

Perfect composition. Awesome post processing. Extremely moody. Unfortunately if I'm likeing it as much as I do, you could be in trouble with the rest of the site. Hope I'm wrong.

This would have had more impact if it had been run thru NeatImage to get thru some of the noise.

while a great photo, I think that the two silhouette elements distract from the impact that just the leaves would have had
