I had so many ideas for this shot, but this one came out on top. I don't think i'll so very well with this one, as I couldn't think of any other superlative ideas for this challenge.

Thanks to all who voted and commented,

Awesome. I would do without the frame. The texture and dof is enough to carry the illusion of massive strength and stability. Bumping up.

very nice perspective/composition, right on title that adds much to the image. Only complaint would be the slightly hotter tones at the bottom center of the image. I know it's basic edit and not much can be done in the context of the challenge, but i feel this would be more effective with a bit of a burn after the challenge. 9

I'm still trying to figure out the triangle theme. I think you also need more depth of field, the top of the trees look out of focus.

I like the idea, but somehow the lack of focus near the top of the tree is disturbing. Did you use a flashligth? Longer exposure without flash and smaller aperture (larger DOF) and it could be a winner.

This worked for the triangle angle, but it looks blurred to me, with uneven lighting.

excellent -- and oh so true -- too bad more people don't see that on here ;) 10

I like your idea of using perspective to generate the triangle for you.

that's a great picture, I like it a lot.
Not an obvious triangle and I'm sure you will lose some points for that.
But not from :-)

Unusual viewpoint, interesting composition, black and white brings out the textures and shapes.

Very nice shot... Great idea to meet the challenge. I wish some of the extra branches from other trees were not there, but still very nice.

I like it! I like it more the longer I look at it! It's the angle and the color tones that make it so appealing to me. Good luck!

This is a cool idea, quite nice to relax your mind and see the triangle instead of the tree in this one. Congratulations on noticing a triangle in a classic photo and emphasising that triangle in this shot. Good luck (7)
