Definately a nice shot. I like the colors and the use of d.o.f. This should have averaged MUCH better than it did! It just seems like lately, even on the best work, people are shelling out 1's and 2's to shots that are way in the 7 and 8 range? I would have given it an 8. |

Don't stop shooting flowers, It's a beautifull photograph.
This challenge yielded some strange voting, more so than usuall.
Be proud of a very nice shot.
I do agree w/Tuckersmomom about the little part of the other flower showing in the bottom right part of the shot, coulda been easily cropped out. |

I didn't get a chance to comment during voting but gave you a 9. I saw the triangle right away, but it was the colors that jumped out at me. My only 2 small complaints were the little tiny part of the other flowers in the lower right hand corner and the dark red in the background. I know those are small things, but all in all I really loved this shot, yes, I admit it, I am a flower lover :) |

Don't know about this, Glen. I'm baffled too. Maybe because there are two blue pieces of flowers in the right hand corner. That's it, that's where your 4 and below scores came from. |

I thought that your flower shot is excellent. I had no problem seeing the triangle. Love all of the colors and the DOF is great. The low votes not warranted in my opinion.. :) |

What a beautiful shot arty! It should have placed higher, but I guess the triangle eluded the voters? Wonderful work! |

First of all.. I'd like to thank everyone that liked this photo and scored it well, and commented nicely. You guys rock.
Second of all.. WTF!??! Obviously I got hit by the blind voters that couldn't see a triangle here.. FOURTY EIGHT FOURS!??!!? The triangle is right in front of your face!!! Twenty-Five threes.. OMFG.
I don't rant often.. at least not publically.. but this is absolutely ridiculous. There were shots that scored much higher than mine that even had less of a triangle in them. Stupid flower shots.
I'm never entering a flower shot again :) |

How pretty! I love the shallow depth of field. It compliments the flower so well. It has a dreamy kind of look to it. |

certainly most excellent exposure, focus and color ... great use of DOF for isolation and the creative clustered triangle completes a possible ribbon winner |

Colors are great, good interpretation of the challenge, good isolation of the subject (good choice of dof), but most of all, I like that you thought outside the box which is not so common in dpc. Good job! |
