I like this concept a lot. A couple of things might have improved it and made it more a dream--some softening, or better yet a soft glow, and a bit different posture by the person. It looks here like a candid, but if you had posed the person, perhaps looking anywhere but down, and without carrying anything (unless you wanted to give him a lot of stuff to carry and make it a burden!). If you can, I think this would be wonderful for a reshoot! Nice work, would love to see any other versions you create! |

This image has some nice things going for it, like the treelines and the dandylions gone to seed. I suspect this is just your camera over which you have no control but the overall general low technical quality hurts this image. I'm unsure the person in the image helps it or not. It might be better without him. The focus is not particularly good either.
If your camera is capable of doing macro I would recommend retaking this image from ground level with several dandylions closeup in sharp focus and with the treeline and sky behind them in recognizable but soft focus. |

The location and editing of the photo is dreamy indeed. Beautiful. Crit: the man is looking down, looking pensive. He is carrying something undreamlike, likely a black shirt or rainjacket. His clothes are real time. If he is a model, he could have been wearing white with a softer pastel shirt and this photo would have bumped up to the top. 9 |

This image has a pinkish cast, which I find distracting. The DOF seems to restrict the focus to the first few feet of the image, leaving the rest of the image an odd, not-quite-in-focus feeling. If the focus were softer overall or the DOF were either much shallower or encompassed the entire image I'd have liked the presentation better. I think that rendering this in B&W would have emphasized the depth of the image, as the color seems to exist mainly in the periphery. |

Sweet location! I thought of a bunch of dumb things to say about what I would have liked to have seen in the model or the dandelion floaters and the blown out cherry blossoms, but then I remembered that this is yours and you have done an excellent job in composition, and I think most people in my dreams wear pretty normal clothes like that too.
The aligned branches are extraordinary! |

Wonderful drive-in but the person jars with the overall composition in wearing blue jeans and an orange t-shirt. As is he's a glaring disjunction to the harmony of the blooming trees and flowers. |

What a fantastic location to shoot a picture. This is certainly dreamy in appearance and perfect for this challenge. |

While the colours are quite striking, I feel that they may be a little too saturated. (Granted, it's a challenge about dreams) |

Very pretty, serene iamge. could be a little sharper, since my eyes want to go to the "walker", I would suggest a focus point on him. The focus is in the foreground which defies the eye. |

Beautiful! I love this pricture, only I hope you aren't dreaming of him...It would have been nice if he were wearing a different color shirt. It looks like a dream about cotton candy. I dig it. KMF 10!!!!!!!!!!!! |

A bit blurred, doesn't matter since it's a dream right... |

This is an excellent idea for the challenge! There's something I don't like about the gentleman's clothing, but I can't "put my finger on" exactly what it is. I think it may be the colors. Anyway, it's lovely and very appropriate for the challenge. -9- |

interesting concept for theme, nice lines, nice dof, good color, b&w's good, maybe just a bit blown out, not bad. |

Really great location. For some reason it seems oversaturated to me. |

A very strong colour cast which is no doubt intentional but looks wrong on the skin tones of your subject. 7 |
