Great saturation of the pinky red tones. I love that! Really nice.

Maybe I have not professional eyes because I like it as is. :-)

Here the selective desat works better I think, but I don't like those haloes of color around the petals.
I don't know how you did the desaturation process, but try doing it while using 2 layers. The top one should be the b&w, and the bottom should remain in colors. Then use a very hard brash tool to delete from the top layer all the parts you want to see in colors.
This might prevent those weird haloes.
