This is an absolutely wonderful photo. |

Very dramatic lighting. I would have preferred that the scene be shifted to the left so there is more space in front of the batter and less space behind the umpire. |

Beautiful sillouettes, I love the way the light is highlighting them just a bit on their backs. The only problem that I see is that building on the lower left. There is a wire coming out of it, right behind the umpire. |

greats silhouettes - I think that's how you spell it! |

Nice one! I like the silhouettes. I think you could have done beter with cropping out the top third of the photo. All it includes is a grey cloud. It does nothing to the warmth of the photo. Otherwise, very nice! I like the way your models are posed. Although I can not see their faces, it is enough to feel their anxiety and concentration on the game. Well done! |

Nice silhhouette against a good, dramatic sky. Doesn't look to me like they're at the ballpark, though. Did you shoot this up on a rooftop? XXX behind the ump detracts, and the batter looking out of the frame doesn't work so well. Don't know how you could avoid the latter. A lower angle to get some more of the players against the bright sky, maybe? |

People silhouette graduates with sunset shading. The sky behind does not match their coloring. That would have added to the feel for the time of the photograph. |

I think this photo is awsome. With the silouette players (excuse my spelling please) and the cloud backround that is so cool. I give it a 10. |

I like the use of back lighting and uncluttered background to tell the story. FWIW I would crop with some moor sky on the right so the batter isn't looking directly out of the frame. |

Nice use of shadow. Too bad rules wouldn't allow editing the sun reflections from the helmets. Photo 9 Creativity 8 Games 8 total 8 |

Gorgeous :). The feeling of expectation and tension here is really powerful. I love the use of silhouettes, creating a tight focus on the body language of the people. Definitely a 10 from me. |

Great photo (potential winner). The framing is excellent and the backlight effect of the sky has turned reality into art. |

I think I would have opted for cropping this one to the 640x427 size. There seems to be just a little too much space over the tops of the subjects. Love the way their roles all come through clearly (at least if you know baseball) even though they're in silhouette. |

not sure whether it's my screen, but there isn't much detail below the the top of the clouds in the horizon. The actual image itself is great ... I love the silhouettes of the players and umpire. Not sure what the line coming from the umpire is either |

This is a beautiful photograph and the only (very small) critsism is the antenna or something on the left hand border. I gave this very high marks. |

Amazing. I really like the reddish highlights that give a little bit of texture to the silhouettes. The ONLY thing I don't like is that wire that seems to be poking from the umpire's bottom, but that's a nitpick, cause this is great. |

this is a great shot. I wish that line or pole or whatever that is behind the umpire wasn't there, I'm sure you do to :) Great job. |

A great composition! The only thing I marked you down for is that String? Wire? behind your umpire. Its probably supposed to be here judging by how perfect the rest of the picture is, but I personally found it a little distracting. Still one of my top 5! |

wow. nice picture. it looks like they're playing in the clouds. other than the diagonal (wire?) on the left side of the photo, there are no distractions in the picture. this is in my top 5. |
