I checked your profile after a forum post (figured you were in Fairfax after the 'large school system' comment)...took a peek at some of your challenge entries. Isn't it interesting how commenters during a challenge say you should change this or that (hat, no hat - lighting on back of neck, etc...) when it's quite obvious this is a candid shot (well captured I might add) and had you tried to 'fix' the pose the candid moment would have been lost. Some validity perhaps to the post-processing comments but overall a very nice job for your what, third challenge? Keep shooting and having fun. Keep 'finding' shots like this one and you'll do well... ;^) |

Great background, even though it is a tad overpowering. Could use some contrast |

its a good pose. a few things though.
The hat has to go, I think it would be more powerful that way if you could see his eye gazing into hers.
Something happened when you were doing curves? It looks as if you reversed the curve to try and bring out more detail perhaps? Im seeing this weird discolored effect on the shirts, and its not very pleasing :( |

Excellent shot of young love! The expression and angle of faces is well done; I like the soft low lighting also...8 |

I am not real fond of the technical aspects of this photo, however it really shows emotions with the young ladys expression. This photo shows Love. A+ on content. |

Would be better if we could see a little more of the boy's face. Why is the light on the back of the boy's neck and arm, but not on the couple themselves? Colour balance of background seems a little off. |

or at least till his deoderant wears off. Nice job. the angle of the light might have been better, but that's about it. |

exposure not really on the spot (his neck & arm) and a little too yellow - besides, is "forever" a mood? |

I like the look on their faces, but don't care for the outfits they are wearing. |
