Perfect blurring but is this a game? Maybe it is. |

while i really really really would like the legs to be frozen, i realize that at those speeds its an achievement to pane the horse across the background. beauty. |

This is just a brilliant photo. I like pretty much everything about it, including the fact that the horse's shoulder is at the centre of the photo, leading the eye to wander around the shapes made by the rider's arms curving down to the bridle, and the rider's upper legs angling down to the horse's foreleg. It makes the horse and rider seem like one unit. There is even a parallel between the angle of the rider's head and the horse's head. A photo I can gaze at for a long time. I guess I'll have to give it 10 :) |

Wonderful action shot....Racetracks have so many annoying horizontal lines dont they? I wonder if it might have been less noticable if cropped differently. You might have also been able to get rid of that overprocessed look at the top. I gave you a 7, because I love the action part of this photo. |

great panning action. The blurred legs don't bother me, but the white stand? in the background does. Top capture anyway |

i really like this shot.. you have done a great job capturing the motion of this moving horse. the motion blur is just right and the panning also adds an extra effect of 'motion'... good job! |

Flying tail and flying feet. Great action. Good separation of rider from horse and background. Did she win? |

I think a little less zoom would be good for two reasons. First, you could leave more open on the right to give the subject "somewhere to go", and secondly, it would (most likely) allow a better shutter speed to better stop the action. |

very good job at catching this, the only draw back is that the top of the photo is a little washed out and bright. |

Great panning job, though I would prefer a tighter crop. |

This photo is technically perfect. I love the blurry background, it gives the photo such a feeling of motion. |

Great subject. I'd imagine this would be a difficult shot to take, especially to be in a position to take it. |
