This is a very nice image, but to be honest, it really does not seem to depict any emotion, or a sense of mood. It's a very fine image, with great detail and wonderful lighting, but for me, it just doesn't seem to be very interesting. <5>

Nice, I'd try cropping it to just showing his face and some negative space to the right. See how that looks.
