You're still riding that thing??? White wheels went out with the Macarena, try something else for more contrast.

Doesn't fit the challenge. Nice high key effort.

the wheel a bit overexposed maybe on purpose? The composition is also lacking somewhat and the out of focus is not helping either
05/02/2005 01:38:23 AM
Out of focus and overexposed a little.

The photo has over blown hi-lights and is not very sharp. Compostion is good but need to get the little specks off the top of the board.
04/29/2005 04:43:10 PM
whole image not sharp enough
04/29/2005 03:55:24 PM
your lights are a bit too blown out
04/29/2005 10:56:11 AM
looks out of focus
04/29/2005 08:44:08 AM
There isn't much that are in sharp focus. Maybe a bigger apperture would have given you more DOF. Lighting a bit too strong; highlight blown out.
04/29/2005 07:32:23 AM
It is a bit large, and seems out of focus.
04/29/2005 06:55:27 AM
interesting use of theme
04/28/2005 04:27:56 PM
I think this fills the frame too much and thus goes off topic of the challenge. perhaps flipping the board over end, and then selecting a different composition would have improved this shot.

rolling on to try to get to the top. a bit to bright by the wheel and a little blurry .
04/27/2005 06:25:12 PM
blurry
04/27/2005 05:23:30 PM
A little too bright and a bit too much skateboard for minimalism. Also the picture would be served by a deeper DOF.
04/27/2005 04:25:59 PM
Looks out of focus..
04/27/2005 02:38:42 PM
not minimal
04/27/2005 12:31:23 PM
An interesting subject. The highlights on the wheel are a little blown out the I think more depth of field would help by allowing all of the board to be in focus.
04/27/2005 10:17:18 AM
Interesting viewpoint. Wish the front edge of the board and the front wheel were in focus.
04/27/2005 02:51:35 AM
Nice
04/27/2005 02:22:32 AM
the subject isn't so small.
04/27/2005 12:43:23 AM
For me, this does not exactly fit the definition of the challenge. Your main object takes up most of the viewing area of the picture, not "a very small" part of the viewing image.
04/26/2005 10:33:30 PM
Although this doesn't really meet the challenge description (small area), it does meet the classic definition of minimalism, so I'm not docking points for that. However, the white is harsh and glaring, causing the wheel to become indistinct on the right side and hurting the eyes, and the skateboard seems slightly out of focus.
04/26/2005 09:11:44 PM
Looks a little out of focus and a little over exposed, but I do like the composition.
04/26/2005 08:56:59 PM
The shot seems very out of focus. I like the white background though.
