I like it, but my eye begs for a wider angle on the right edge. The idea seems cut off.

If not for the title I would have never figured out what your intended subject was.

The hen is a small part of the picture, but I'm not sure of the minimalistic angle here. 4

IMO the hen is a bit too small to be a strong point of the pic.

the bird does not attact the attention at all. I had to read the headline and take a very good look at the photo to get an idea of what you were trying to do. and even hen there is nothing intersting to see here.
improment possibilities:
get the bird at a visible size
change your angle
get the bridge out of the picture, or get the bird in the place where your attention is focused by the bridge.

if it weren't for the title, i'd have no idea what the subject of this photo is supposed to be.

oh yes , that is minimal... probably a little too minimal, or maybe the bridge just takes your eye... great idea though

this is the case when the subject is perhaps too small - I wold not notice it if not for the title, and nothing in the photo leads towards it

It's a little tilted and a tad out of focus

But I'm sure you know that by now

There is a glare in the top that seems to bleach the bridge. Also this appears to have been too cropped from a larger image and pixelated

I wouldn't know anything was there if I didn't read the title. I would have liked to see the bird a bit closer.

i think your subject is way too small i had to strain to see it

Not sure what the focal point is here, so I don't see that it fits the challange. Would have been good it there was someone fishing/sitting on the grass, or something else to focus on.

This is to small and not level.

I can't really tell what the focus is in this picture. I know you say moor hen, but is it that small blurry bird that just barely stands out? I think I get what you were trying to do, but maybe a little less reflection on the water and more sharpness on the bird.

It took me a good 30 seconds to find the hen, and even then I'm not really sure that's what it is. It could just as well be a chunk of rubble or a hole in the ground. Nothing draws the eye to it, and the rest of the image is both nondescript and slightly blurry, with harsh highlights on the water.
